Sleep Apnea Treatment

Improving Your Quality of Life

If you have sleep apnea, it is important that you treat the condition to improve your quality of life. The quality of your sleep has a dramatic impact on your health, well-being and overall quality of life. Snoring and obstructive sleep apnea disrupts your sleep and increase your risk of severe health problems. Sleep apnea is caused by the soft tissues at the back of the throat relaxing while you sleep.

Oral appliance therapy is an effective treatment for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring. Provided by a qualified dentist, oral appliance therapy uses a custom-fit device worn only during sleep. Oral appliance therapy helps maintain an open, unobstructed airway. Treating sleep apnea is as simple as wearing a custom-made oral device, and many of our patients find this appliance more comfortable than a CPAP machine.
